Curling Team

To end a busy and successful  27th curling season, over 30 members of the Club met for dinner and presentation of prizes. Numbers were slightly less due to the  "Beast from the East"  disrupting travel and stranding many members from Dubai to Berlin and Kent to Ayr.

The following week, for the 18th year, members gathered for an outing to Stranraer to curl, have lunch and lots of fun. A cake was provided to celebrate the 94th birthday of one of our senior members and a good day out was had by all.

We are a thriving Club with room for new members and coaching begins in September for the new season in 2018 and will start on Thursday 27th September 2018. Anyone wishing to come along and try this sport will be very welcome - there is no age limit and tends to be a very social gathering. Coaching sessions for beginners are being held on 11th, 12th, and 13th September from 2.00pm until 9.00pm each day. Contact Ayr Ice Rink 01292 264023 for further details.
