Worship

Morning Worship

Sunday worship is conducted at our sister linked church, Dalrymple Parish Church, at 9.30 am and at St Leonard’s at 11.00am. All welcome.
Good News Bibles are in the pews with hymns being selected from CH4 and Mission Praise.
Joint services are held with Dalrymple in July, and with other congregations in the town to celebrate , for example, Holy Week. A Watchnight service is held on Christmas Eve.
Communion services are held four times a year with short after-service communions each month where there is no full Communion.

Creche

A creche is available for children aged 0 – 3 years old.  Tea & coffee after the service.

Sunday School

The Sunday School has been discountinued this year due to the very small numbers attending. However a Sunday Club will be available if youngsters attend at any time in the future, perhaps on holiday, or attending a baptism.

Youth Fellowship

7:30 pm.  Weekly from September to June.

For young people from S1 upwards.

Choir

The Choir of enthusiastic and committed members provides a much valued lead in worship, guiding the congregation through new or less well known hymns, singing introits and anthems of varied choral work under the  guidance of our dedicated organist and choir leader.
The Church Choir's membership at the moment stands at 19; 9 Sopranos, 6 altos, 4 men; and they are a very enthusiastic and committed group of people.   Each Sunday the choir sings an Introit and an Anthem (except in July and August when there is usually just an Introit). The music is fitted into the theme of the service and is part of a mixed repertoire - including "unknown" hymns from CH4, John Bell "songs", John Rutter's compositions, and pieces by classical composers such as Bach, Mozart, Schubert etc.,and lots of other pieces.

HYMN 786

May the God of Peace go with us

as we travel from this place

may the love of Jesus keep us

firm in hope and full of grace
