Development
A substantial new housing development is proposed at Corton, an area located between St Leonard’s and Dalrymple. This is in the Parish of St Leonard’s and will provide us with exciting opportunities in outreach and mission. This development will contain 750 houses, a primary school, a supermarket and a shopping mall. Other facilities will include a community centre and sports amenities.
Plans are being developed for changes to our Church Sanctuary to provide greater flexibility, these to be progressed as funds become available. We have an excellent Bose sound system and consultations are under way to augment this with a state of the art visual display system.
